In a world guided increasingly by the satisfaction of immediacy, a great fear of commitment and a constant comparison with others, at Pompeii we look to praise the traits of long-term thinking. After some years of reflection and personal understanding and growth, we have come to acknowledge that our mission lies not in when, but what. With this understanding comes patience, and with patience comes the clarity of long-term goals, because, although cliche, Rome wasn't built in a day, good things take time, effort and sacrifice. Legacy isn't given but earned.
The Marathon of Life is an ode to long journeys and life missions, with its ups and downs, but with the fulfillment of having put all your effort and focus on achieving your goals in the best way you, not somebody else, seems fit.
