Water-repellent footwear repels water and NON-fatty liquids, i.e. they are not resistant to wine, oil, or other substances.
In case they get wet, let them air dry naturally. We always recommend not to force this process. Once dry, rub them carefully with a microfiber cloth. Non-water stains can be reduced by using the classic crepe brush that acts as an eraser. To keep the water-repellent treatment in good condition for a long time you can apply a special water repellent protective spray.
We recommend our special cleaning kit for split leather, which has a manual explaining the steps.
Never put your shoes in the washing machine and never use soap in the cleaning process!
